Forklift Driver (PJB-HAM) East Kilbride, Scotland

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our East Kilbride-based client who produce boxes/packaging for large companies.
The successful candidate will have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
Schedule: Night shift – Monday to Thursday, 9:30pm to 7:30am
Pay rates: £12.50 to £14 per hour
As a Forklift Driver, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy environment
- Moving goods from the warehouse to the production line
- Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
- Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods
To be successful in this FLT position you will hold a valid Counterbalance license, with previous experience operating a forklift truck in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with: excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail; the physical ability to perform manual labour; the ability to work well in a team; and knowledge of warehouse H&S requirements.
