Electrician (Auto)

We have an exciting opportunity to support the Supacat project at Devonport, which is new & exciting project building Military vehicles for the MOD. The contract is initially for 2 years with a possibility of extending both the contract and your employment at Devonport.

We are looking for Auto Electricians or Vehicle Electrical Fitters with experience of Vehicle builds to join our team – Experience of other types of electrical work will be considered, so Domestic Electricians/Marine electricians are  also encouraged to apply.

You will have the ability to read electrical and engineering drawings to interpret work instructions and be competent in the use of general workshop machinery specific to Auto Electrics and or electrical fitting.

Ideally you have experience of working on Vehicle build production. although Other relevant experience will be considered.
You’ll need to hold qualifications in at least one of the following:

- Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline
- Armed Forces PO/CPO/NCO with electrical specialisation
- Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification

Standard hours of work - Monday to Thursday Working 07:30 to 17:00,  overtime and shft work will be available for this role.
