Job summary

Are you a Consultant Psychiatrist with a specialisation in ADHD?

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our MDT, to take part in monthly clinical meetings, complete patient record audits and provide advice and guidance to our clinical team.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessment and intervention for ADHD.
  • Contribute to governance, audit, and data reporting.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in ADHD treatments and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of ADHD treatment and medication management in a specialist ADHD service.
  • Relevant experience of carrying out remote support.
  • Good knowledge of legislation, research and developments relevant to the field of ADHD.

Person Specification (essential)

  • Consultant Psychiatrist with relevant experience of assessing and diagnosing ADHD.
  • Full GMC registration
  • Current MRCPsych status
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to gain.
