Senior Customer Service Assistant

Rail Gourmet UK is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Senior Customer Service Assistant for Grand Central & Lumo Trains at King’s Cross Station, London. 

 

We are a premier provider of catering and onboard services to the British Railway Industry. With over 40 service centres nationwide and a workforce of over 1000 employees in the UK alone, we are committed to delivering a First-Class service consistently.

 

Hours: Full Time Permanent (40 hours/week) 
Shifts: Varied between 5 AM and 8.30 PM, including weekends
Pay Rate: £ 13.15 per hour (Inclusive of London Allowance)

 

AS A SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT YOU’LL:

 

  • Oversee efficient loading/unloading of catering equipment and stock from trains.
  • Manage order assembly and maintain precise control over inventory.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene Regulations.
  • Strategically place products to minimize wastage through effective rotation.
  • Must have basic computer and customer handling experience.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT:

 

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older due to certain responsibilities within the role.
  • Must have experience in customer service role and basic knowledge of computers.
