Job Title: Early years teaching Assistant

Key responsibilities 

• Through reflective practice, support a creative inclusive curriculum which values learning through and smaller group working practices
• To support excellent progress for children across all areas of development through effective participation in observation, assessment and planning.
• Assist with the development and implementation of intervention or specialist care plans
• Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.
• Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.

Skills & experience 

• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
• Experience with working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support
• Experience with providing/willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs (e. peg feeding, toileting, changing etc.)
• Available to interview immediately
• Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service
