The national Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) reported by the Health and Social Care Information Centre recently identified the hospital as top in the country for hip replacements, and in the top five per cent for knee replacements.

Main duties of the job

This role requires you to problem solve and communicate effectively to ensure the best service for your patients, while being based in an office environment. This role will incorporate desk top triage and ensuring safe pathway of pre-admission to surgery. You will work within a small team that is friendly and supportive.

About us

You will be an experienced NMC registered Nurse, with:

  • Experience in pre-assessment environment is preferred with demonstrable competent clinical judgement
  • Understanding of infection control and health and safety issues relating to theatre along with your knowledge of when to refer patients to an anaesthetist
