I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Various hours/ shifts available – please apply stating which you can do

Hourly pay rate:

£11.45 weekdays, £11.95 weekends. Sleeping night rate: £35

Two (female only*) part time personal assistant positions required to work in Croydon with myself in my home, on rotation with two PAs. Living with limited mobility and a wheelchair user.

Three shifts available.
The hours would be split with the afternoon and weekend morning and evening calls alternately and sleeping nights.

Some flexibility with the rota can be discussed with the right candidates... Training will be given.

Hours: ~
Monday to Thursday mornings alternate Saturday and Sunday mornings
08.00 am to 13.30pm

Tuesday evening - alternate Saturday Sunday evenings
21. 00pm to 23.30 pm

Hours: ~

Monday to Friday afternoons
17.30pm to 19.00pm
Saturday and Sunday afternoon
17.30pm to 19.00pm

Hours: ~
Monday to Sunday
Sleeping Night 23.00pm to 07.00am
Flat rate (£35.00)

Equipment:~
Shower chair, Patient Turner Stand, electric standing hoist, walking frame, ceiling hoist, electric wheelchair. Sliding sheet.

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Moving and handling
  • Housekeeping
  • Dressing / undressing

  • Incontinence care
  • Wound dressing
  • Laundry
  • Occasional meal preparation
  • Light shopping
  • Prescription collection

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Notes:

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
