Are you a Practice Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Shakespeare Medical Practice are looking for a Practice Nurse for 30 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will also assist the Registered Manager with duties related to CQC outcomes, ensuring that compliance is maintained.

The practice is easily accessible via motorway links. We have a young population of diverse backgrounds. Clinical staff comprises GPs, Nurse practitioners, Practice nurses and HCA. We are fully engaged with a range of Primary Care Network providers including Clinical Pharmacists, Patient Ambassadors, First Contact Practitioners and Mental Health Wellbeing workers.

The practice is set within close proximity to St James hospital in inner-city Leeds. This area has a population from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Lincoln Green surgery shares its site with the Shakespeare walk-in centre in Burmantofts Health Centre. The practice is easily accessible via major A roads in Leeds and motorway networks.

Job responsibilities

The postholder will provide care for the presenting patient, treatment, chronic disease management and evaluation of care. Experience in cervical cytology and baby immunisations essential.

They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, ensuring that practice policies and procedures are followed.
