We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified Practice Nurse to join our friendly dedicated nurse team. The position is a Senior role and would involve leading the team of nurses, nurse associate and HCAs whilst liaising with Partners and Management.
Main duties of the job
We would expect that the candidate will have already worked in General Practice and be competent in the following areas:
Cytology
Immunisation
Sexual Health and Contraception
Chronic Disease Management ideally the candidate would have a specialist interest in a specific chronic disease area
Travel
The candidate will need to be a good team player, dynamic and adaptable, have good communication skills and be ready for the additional challenge of running the nursing department. Further training and support will be available to the right candidate. Full NMC registration is required, and an enhanced DBS check will be carried out on the successful candidate. Salary is dependent on experience but will be reflective of the leadership role.

The Limes is a high achieving, innovative, caring and very friendly System One practice with a list size of approximately 14,500 patients. We have a stable and happy Partnership with five full time GP Partners along with a hard-working and dedicated clinical team consisting of two Salaried GPs and a dedicated team comprising ANP, two Practice Nurses, one sexual health nurse, three HCAs, one Nursing Associate, two Physician Associates, two Paramedics, and MSK Practitioners. The Practice is well organised with an effective and responsive administration and management structure. We are also a well-regarded training practice for GP Registrars and Medical students. Our last CQC inspection was very positive and was rated good overall. We have extremely high patient satisfaction through our Friends and family surveys.
