Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) is looking for a full-time Respiratory Consultant to join an existing team of 30 NHS and academic consultants providing general and specialist Respiratory services to the people of Nottinghamshire and beyond. This post has a specialist interest in Sleep and Ventilation.

You will be joining a dynamic & dedicated team of professionals providing outstanding Respiratory care and delivering internationally recognised Respiratory research within the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre, which is a partnership between NUH and the University of Nottingham.

NUH is the fourth largest acute Trust within the UK, with a busy emergency department at Queen's Medical Centre, which is a level 1 Trauma Centre. NUH provides services to 2.5 million residents of Nottingham and surrounding communities, and specialist services to a further 3-4million across the region and nationally.

Applicants must have GMC registration and be eligible to be included on the Specialist Register. Sub-specialty interests could also be accommodated.
