Job description

Job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced resilientCare & Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Gledholtis an enhanced community residential service providing outcome focused support for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

Gledholtis operationally a nurse-led service with both service manager and head of care being qualified nurses. We have an in-house multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who support the residents in our care throughout their journey with us

Your day-to-day

  • Offer innovative model of care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Learn about behaviour management
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs
  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
  • Safeguarding
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for all

Shift Patterns

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

42 hours per week, a mixture of days, nights, and weekends.

Day Shift: 8:00am - 8:00pm

Night Shift: 7.30pm - 8:30am
