Job summary

InHealth has over 20 years' experience in providing Interventional Cardiac Catheter Lab services, caring for over 37,500 patients last year.

With the largest fleet of state-of-the-art mobile and relocatable Cardiac Cath Labs across the UK and Ireland, our Cardiac Interim Solutions have delivered services to 30 hospitals in the last 3 years.

Our service scope ranges from diagnostic angiography, cardiac rhythm management, PCI (including primary PCI) to simple and complex EP services, and we are unique in our capability to deliver relocatable interventional radiology facilities.

Main duties of the job

As a mobile Cardiac Physiologist, you will support the Cardiac Interim Solutions service in the delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including diagnostic angiography, PCI including the use of interventional tools such as OCT, pressure wire, IVUS and Rotablation.

You will be independent in simple and complex device implantation, box changes and follow-up, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent high-quality patient care.

Job title: Mobile Cardiac Catheter Lab Physiologist

Salary: 36,000 - 39,368 plus company car or car allowance 

Hours: 36 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday

Location: Mobile team - covering sites across the UK

What you are responsible for:

  • Supporting the mobilisation team in preparing the relocatable and mobile units ready for delivery to sites
  •  Managing your own time and utilising the rota to travel to various locations across the UK
  • Maintaining clinical and physiologist specific skills through experience and courses, ensuring compliance in all areas of mandatory training.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A passion for patient care 
  • Attention to detail and an eagerness and ability to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good listening skills with an ability to present information in a logical manner
  • A passion for travel and a willingness to work all over the UK at a range of exciting and changing locations

You should apply if you have experience:

  • Of at least 3 years' working independently in a cardiac catheter lab environment carrying out interventional cardiology procedures BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent).
  • Pacing and Complex Device procedures (EP experience desirable but not essential).
  • Working within a team, having to operate on own initiative
  • Member of an appropriate professional body (SCST) (AHCS, previously RCCP).
  • BHRS or IBHRE accreditation (desirable but not essential), or a willingness to obtain these qualifications.
  • Full UK Driving License
