Class 1 Driver - Temporary

Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our client in Newark-on-Trent. If you have experience in the driving industry and are looking for a temporary role, this opportunity could be perfect for you.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle
- Transport goods from one location to another, adhering to national and company regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process

Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 driving license
- CPC qualification
- Tacho card
- Prior experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently

The pay rate for this role ranges from £15.00 to £16.00 per hour.
