Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods across a designated route, adhering to all relevant legislation and best practices.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods, maintaining high standards of customer service throughout.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, promptly reporting any defects or maintenance requirements to the appropriate parties.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete accurate recordkeeping, including delivery notes and documentation related to vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain excellent communication with dispatchers, providing regular updates on progress and any unforeseen delays.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, with CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 driver, ideally within the tramper or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of current road transport regulations, tachograph rules, and driving restrictions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A professional and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as required.
