Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) in compliance with the latest road transport regulations and company guidelines.
- Efficiently transport goods and materials, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo appropriately, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Complete accurate paperwork, logbooks, and delivery notes.
- Conduct pre and post-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the transport team to coordinate routes and maintain effective communication channels.
- Follow company procedures and regulations, including Health and Safety policies, at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
- Possess a clean driving record and maintain an up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the latest road transport regulations and tachograph laws.
- Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety practices.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- A reliable and flexible approach to work, accommodating different shift patterns.

Remuneration:
As a Temporary HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive a competitive pay rate of £15.00 per hour, ensuring that your dedication and experience are valued.
