Job Title: HGV Class 1 Flat Bed Driver - Temporary

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle with a flat bed trailer
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed
- Load and unload goods in a timely and secure manner, adhering to company regulations
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly
- Plan routes effectively, ensuring on-time deliveries and optimal fuel efficiency
- Comply with all relevant legislation regarding driving hours and tachograph usage
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professional communication at all times

Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 Licence with no more than 6 points (minor offences only)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in operating a Class 1 vehicle with a flat bed trailer is essential
- Excellent understanding of road safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to handle and secure loads safely
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Good organizational and time management skills, ensuring deliveries are made on schedule

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
