Main duties of the job
Sulis Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Somerset, has opportunities for Theatre Nurse Practitioners/ ODPs with Surgical First Assistant 1 or 2 to join our Bank Theatre team.

A friendly manner is essential as you will need to be able to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate.
You will be responsible for preparing operating and anesthetic rooms for surgery including equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, contribute to team working throughout our theatres suite whilst providing the highest standards of professional care.
Various Bank shifts available.
If you have NMC or ODP registration and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge and experience of theatre professional practice, then we would like to hear from you.

Qualifications
Essential
- NMC registered Nurse or HCPC registered ODP qualification
- English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0
- Experience in a similar role
- RN/RGN//MTO/ODP equivalent with SFA1 or 2
- Demonstrable record of CPD
- Knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to the Unit
- Knowledge of standards of professional practice in the wider healthcare context
Desirable
- Have experience of or working towards a Lead role in theatres
